Julia ChaitinJulia Chaitin received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. Her research focuses on: the psychosocial impacts of the Holocaust on survivors, their families and young adults; joint Palestinian-Israeli research that examines the impact of the conflict on Israelis and Palestinians; and issues of collective identity and belonging among refugee/immigrant populations. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Social Work Department at the Sapir College (Israel).
